Jacqui Bowman

After writing a high school paper on human evolution Bowman became obsessed with skeletons and anthropology. She completed a BSc in Archaeological Science followed by a PhD in Biological Anthropology. She has worked on numerous collections of human and primate skeletons both in England and the USA. Her speciality is life history from biological markers. She now works at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia where she develops multidisciplinary educational programming for both adults and teens. This work draws upon the world-renowned resources of the Mütter Museum and Historical Medical Library to inspire learning. Particular areas of focus are increasing the diversity of the healthcare workforce, and issues of public health in the urban environment.
